Mark Shaw has over 20 years of work experience in the areas of contracts drafting and negotiation, business development and intellectual property strategies for technology companies including Hughes Network Systems, iBEAM Broadcasting Corporation as well as other startup companies in Silicon Valley and other locations.
Mark has negotiated numerous contracts related to internet content management, satellite communications, vendor server purchase and satellite/terrestrial bandwidth agreements with large media and satellite providers. This also includes the drafting and negotiation of various software licensing agreements and service level agreements for management of internet content. Additionally, he has a strong background in complex technology issues such as terrestrial networking, satellite systems and ground systems, semiconductor (fab/fabless), internet/cloud, and internet/broadcast video applications.
Having been an entrepreneur himself, Mark also has extensive experience with corporate formation, landlord/tenant lease agreements, operating leases, financing (debt/equity) and exit strategies for smaller entities.
